Note # 57 – I Made You Something for Christmas

So, I really wanted to give you something for Christmas, because if ever there was a year when we could all use a bit of pampering, I’d say this is it, wouldn’t you?

I thought about baking you all some Christmas cookies, but I’m not much of a baker. Then I thought you might like a colourful scarf to keep you warm on blustery winter days, but frankly, I’m a terrible knitter. I even thought about buying you all some really nice Godiva chocolates, but I ran the numbers on that and it turned out to be a little too expensive.

So, instead of baking cookies, kitting scarves of buying chocolates, I did what I’m good at: I wrote you a little story. It’s called The Magi Were Morons and it’s about Christmas in Stafford Falls when Olivia and Eddie Spaghetti were nine years old. It’s sweet and funny and lovely and I think it might be just what we all need right now.

And the best part is that you don’t have to wait until Christmas to open it.

To get your present, just click this link, fill in your email address and The Magi Were Morons will be emailed directly to you.

(This will also sign you up for my mailing list so you’ll be the first to find out all the news, like when the Date Square Dharma audiobook will be ready, and when I’ll be done writing The Spaghetti Supper Sangha.<spoiler: there’s still quite a bit to write.>)

In the meantime, enjoy this little Christmas present, stay warm and be very, very kind to yourself.
