Note #1 – In Which I Establish a Web Presence

So, apparently, I have a blog now.

Trust me, no one is more surprised than I am.

But I’m told that if you’re going to be a successful author in this digital age, you must have a platform, a brand, a web presence.

So here I am world, all kinds of present and accounted for.

What’ll we talk about?  I’ll probably be rambling on about writing and creativity and the importance of a really good cappuccino, like the one I have beside my laptop right now, which is fuelling this blog post on this grey Monday morning in March. There’s also bound to be odes to dogs and their people, some reflections on being an independent author and the odd bit of existential angst.  (I promise to keep the angst to a minimum or at least to warn you if I see it coming.)

You’re also probably going to have to hear about the new novel, which I think is going to be called The Date Square Dharma, and which I am currently writing.  Right after I finish this blog post, that is.

Stay tuned.  This could be fun.

P.S. If you haven’t already checked it out, my novel The Kitchen Sink Sutra is for sale on Amazon.  Like, right now.  You might like it….
